User Roles¶
SeminaryERP uses Frappe's role-based permission system to control access.
Core roles¶
- Seminary Admin — full access to all seminary doctypes and settings
- Instructor — manages courses, grades submissions, moderates discussions
- Student — enrolls in courses, submits work, participates in discussions
- Evaluator — grades submissions without full instructor privileges
Portal vs Desk access¶
Students and instructors primarily use the LMS portal (frontend). Administrators work in the Frappe Desk for configuration and reporting.
