User Roles

SeminaryERP uses Frappe's role-based permission system to control access.

Core roles

  • Seminary Admin — full access to all seminary doctypes and settings
  • Instructor — manages courses, grades submissions, moderates discussions
  • Student — enrolls in courses, submits work, participates in discussions
  • Evaluator — grades submissions without full instructor privileges

Portal vs Desk access

Students and instructors primarily use the LMS portal (frontend). Administrators work in the Frappe Desk for configuration and reporting.
